PCR President Poonam Prasad participated in the latest installment of WOC’s the Word, Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy’s interview series that amplifies diverse voices in the non-profit fundraising sector.
The episode, Reflections on the Asian American and Pacific Islander Experience as a Woman in Fundraising and Philanthropy, focused on AAPI women in fundraising and philanthropy and how all women of color can come together in the spirit of allyship. Poonam was joined by fellow WOC Advisory Committee Member and director of UN Women USA, Mary Luke. WOC Founder Yolanda Johnson hosted the event.

PhilanthroCon 2021
May 18 - May 19, 2021
The New York City chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals presented the first PhilanthroCon this year. The two-day event allowed fundraising professionals to connect virtually with experts from across multiple fundraising disciplines, including direct response, major gifts, planned giving, marketing, and more!
PCR President Poonam Prasad, along with our colleague and former client Edie Pearson, facilitated a breakout session, “Using Research to Maximize Your Major Gifts.” The session focused on how to ethically use public data to move and upgrade donors' interest and giving to nonprofits, and what pieces of data are most critical to driving engagement and solicitation strategies.
